Description

You will design and build security-critical agents that automate network and systems defense for Starshield, leverage AI to discover and fix security issues, and provide guidance on AI integrations. Your work ensures the security of in-space mesh networks and next-gen communication systems for national security missions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS or STEM plus 8+ years security software development experience (or 10+ years without degree)
• Experience with Python, C++, or Golang
• Experience designing security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or enterprise infrastructure
• Experience designing and implementing solutions with LLMs, LLM-based agents, or adjacent AI topics
• Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends, and obtain/maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Design and build security-critical agents for Starshield that automate network and systems defense
• Leverage AI to discover and fix security issues in Starshield infrastructure and systems
• Provide guidance and perform testing of AI integrations into new and existing Starshield systems
• Identify new areas where meaningful security improvements can be gained via automation and AI
• Maintain existing production systems and improve security posture via direct implementation and recommendations
