💼 About This Role

You'll serve as the technical authority for Rigetti's patterning ecosystem, architecting the wet process framework that translates quantum designs into hardware. You'll partner with EBL experts to optimize beam-resist interactions while driving the lithography and metrology roadmap for qubit manufacturing.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect wet process framework for quantum design translation
• Optimize beam-resist interactions with EBL hardware team
• Provide technical vision for track and optical lithography modules
• Own lithography and metrology roadmap for qubit manufacturing

📋 Requirements

• Ph.D. with 7+ years or M.S. with 10+ years in lithography process development
• Proven hands-on mastery of CAR/non-CAR resist chemistry, CD control, and overlay management
• Strong expertise in SPC, DOE, GR&R, and root-cause analysis with JMP
• Proficiency with track systems, projection steppers, contact aligners, and maskless aligners

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with E-beam hardware optimization of resist/process interface
• Knowledge of proximity effect correction and dose strategy optimization
• Experience with DUV (KrF/ArF) or i-line projection lithography
