Description

You will develop and execute a vision for the Pinterest marketplace, designing systems to improve the ads delivery funnel, auction mechanisms, and ad allocation. You'll drive cross-functional collaboration and experiments to balance long and short-term business objectives.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics or related field
• 10+ years of professional experience as a hands-on engineer and technical leader
• Strong software engineering and mathematical skills with statistical methods
• Experience with large-scale online e-commerce systems (preferred)
• Background in computational advertising (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Build and improve backend systems and statistical models for the marketplace
• Define and implement experiments to understand long-term marketplace effects
• Develop strategies to balance long and short-term business objectives
