Description

You will provide acute medical care and same-day/next-day access for patients with time-sensitive needs, working a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends at a clinic open 365 days a year. You'll address a broad range of concerns from urgent care to chronic condition management, using technology to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.

Requirements

• Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary or urgent care setting seeing all ages (0+)
• At least one year of experience caring for pediatric patients including newborns
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
• Ability to work at least 3 major holidays a year and two full weekends per month
• State licensing in California by start date

Responsibilities

• Provide care for acute medical concerns and same-day/next-day access for patients with time-sensitive needs
• Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Address a broad range of concerns such as chest pain, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, headaches, URIs, UTIs, laceration repair, wound care, musculoskeletal injuries, and acute mental health triage
• Stay up to date on evidence-based urgent care practices and maintain working knowledge of common primary care issues
• Complete thorough documentation for all patient encounters including procedures
