💼 About This Role
You'll develop intelligent controllers for robotic systems that reshape the Earth for climate resilience. You'll design and tune algorithms, build dynamic models, and integrate perception with ML to make machines move adaptively.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Develop and tune controllers (PID, MPC, robust control) for nonlinear systems
- Build and validate physical models for simulation and HIL testing
- Train and deploy ML models for perception, planning, or adaptive control
- Integrate algorithms with firmware and cloud teams for real-time safety
📋 Requirements
- Pursuing bachelor's degree in CS, Robotics, or related field
- Proficiency in Python and C++
- Experience with PID/MPC controller design
- U.S. permanent residency required
✨ Nice to Have
- Hobby projects and maker experience
- LiDAR integration
- ROS2, ONNX/TensorRT, or RL (PPO/SAC)
🎁 Benefits & Perks
- 💰 $20-28/hr wage
- 🚚 Relocation assistance
- 🎁 Company perks
🚩 Heads Up
- Intern role expects U.S. permanent residency, which is unusual for an internship
- Combines classical control with ML across multiple domains (perception, planning, control) may be too broad for a single intern
