Description

As a Senior Platform Engineer on the Control Plane team, you will build and maintain the orchestration systems and tooling that allow Auth0 engineers to deploy and manage services on AWS and Azure. You'll design APIs, CLIs, and automation for environment lifecycle management, focusing on reliability and developer experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years software development experience with APIs, CLI tools, or backend orchestration
• Proficient in Golang
• Deep understanding of distributed systems patterns (idempotency, state machines, eventual consistency)
• Expertise in managing cloud resources via code (AWS/Azure)
• Experience with IAM or OIDC/OAuth2 flows

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the Control Server, API, and CLI for environment lifecycle management
• Build logic for automated rollbacks, hotfixes, and release patching
• Develop automated provisioners for self-service test environments
• Implement Event Publishing for platform entity state changes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into automated workflows
