Description

As a Senior Platform Engineer at Ripple, you'll help advance production infrastructure and release pipelines. You'll work with product engineers to provide mentorship, automation, and development of platform features, while building solutions for challenges like PKI, secret management, and geographic failover.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Go, Python, or Java
• Experience developing APIs and SDKs
• Experience with cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP)
• Experience with container schedulers and runtimes (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Mesos)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain multi-region, multi-provider service platforms with emphasis on security and resiliency
• Develop tools for automation, monitoring, and instrumentation to reduce operational friction
• Build solutions for PKI, secret management, geographic failover, data replication, availability, and platform resiliency
• Build and automate platform and application lifecycle services using data to converge on declared states
• Collaborate with product engineering to ensure code is production-ready
