💼 About This Role

You'll develop automotive hardware components for autonomous trucks, ensuring functional safety and quality. You'll work with system teams and Tier-1 suppliers to decompose requirements and validate designs. This role offers a chance to pioneer AV technology with Daimler.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop automotive hardware components meeting functional safety and security requirements.
• Maintain requirements databases using DOORS and Jama.
• Partner with system team to decompose system-level requirements into component requirements.
• Collaborate with Tier-1 suppliers to remove technical blockers and ensure project execution.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's in EE or related + 2+ years experience or Master's + 0-3 years.
• Experience with Requirements Management Tools such as DOORS and Jama.
• Understanding of automotive ECUs and methodologies.
• Familiarity with data buses such as CAN, PCIe, Ethernet, LIN, I2C.

✨ Nice to Have

• Automotive Tier-1 supplier experience.
• Experience with ISO 26262, ASPICE, or autonomous vehicles.
• Experience with processors and micro controllers or embedded programming.
