๐ผ About This Role
You'll join KBRA's Legal Department to handle privacy and data protection matters and contract negotiation. You'll provide legal counsel on GDPR, ePrivacy, and cybersecurity laws across the organization. This role offers the chance to work with cross-functional teams and external regulators.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Advise on international data privacy and cybersecurity laws/regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate data processing agreements and vendor contracts.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and vendor due diligence.
- Assist with incident/breach response and coordinate with internal teams.
๐ Requirements
- Qualifying law degree and admitted as solicitor in Ireland or England & Wales.
- 4-8 years post-qualification experience in privacy/data protection law.
- Strong experience drafting and negotiating privacy-sensitive contracts.
- Demonstrated knowledge of GDPR (EU & UK) and cross-border data transfer mechanisms.
โจ Nice to Have
- IAPP certification (CIPP/E, CIPM, or equivalent).
- Experience in regulated environments (financial services, tech, data/analytics).
