Description

You will design, plan, and implement outside plant (OSP) projects for copper and fiber networks, manage budgets, ensure compliance with standards, and coordinate with contractors and government agencies.

Requirements

• Strong background in engineering, permitting, and construction coordination.
• Experience with outside plant (OSP) projects.
• Ability to conduct field measurements and support network design.
• Proficiency with FROGS (CAD), Varasset, and SiteTracker tools.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for field coordination.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan OSP copper/fiber infrastructure (aerial, buried, conduit).
• Prepare engineering drawings, loop loss calculations, and switch serving area designs.
• Develop project budgets, monitor costs, and conduct quality assurance inspections.
• Prepare and submit permit packages to agencies (Township, County, State, etc.).
• Coordinate with municipal officials, utilities, and SSP contractors to avoid delays.
