💼 About This Role

You'll join ProPublica's Local Reporting Network as a one-year fellow, producing investigative journalism in a local newsroom. You'll receive extensive support from a senior editor and access to ProPublica's data and research resources. Your work will be published both locally and nationally.

• Propose and execute an investigative reporting project for your community.
• Collaborate with ProPublica editors and reporters for guidance and support.
• Publish stories simultaneously in your newsroom and on ProPublica.
• Attend training and utilize ProPublica's data and research resources.

📋 Requirements

• Proven track record of investigative reporting and impact.
• Employed by an eligible local or regional newsroom in the U.S. or its territories.
• Propose a specific investigative project for the one-year partnership.
• Demonstrate how the project benefits local and national audiences.
