💼 About This Role

You'll design and maintain infrastructure supporting a core platform in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You'll steward CI/CD pipelines and resolve security, compliance, and scalability issues. This role combines DevOps and software engineering to build systems powering BenchSci.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Create reliable, secure, performant, and scalable services
• Steward CI/CD pipeline for reliability, speed, and recoverability
• Develop best practices for security, scalability, and operational efficiency

📋 Requirements

• 5-7 years as a developer in DevOps or Infrastructure role
• Experience deploying architectures with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud architectures
• Expertise in Python or another programming language

• Experience leading large infrastructure migrations
• Background in computer science fundamentals
