💼 About This Role

You'll commission and operate quantum computers for a world-class team at Atom Computing. You'll ensure the robust operation of cutting edge systems and contribute to breakthroughs in quantum computing. This hybrid role offers the chance to work with neutral atom quantum computers and travel to Boulder, Colorado.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Build and commission scientific hardware and control interfaces for quantum computers.
  • Troubleshoot and improve hardware and software systems essential to the quantum platform.
  • Participate in on-call schedule for emergencies and unexpected maintenance.
  • Travel to Boulder, Colorado for commissioning and knowledge transfer.

📋 Requirements

  • PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong independent troubleshooting skills for complex hardware and software systems.
  • Experience with trapping and manipulation of cold atoms or coherent control of quantum systems.
  • Experience with quantum characterization, verification, and validation (QCVV) techniques.

  • Familiarity with Python and Git software version control.
