Description

You will design, execute, and continuously improve Cobo's internal audit framework, playing a key role in strengthening governance, managing risks, and supporting regulatory and client assurance needs. Audit engagements will span planning to reporting, with a focus on independent assessments of internal controls and recommending improvements.

Requirements

• CPA, CIA, or CAMS certification preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk management
• Experience in financial services, fintech, technology, or Web3/digital assets highly desirable
• Proven ability to manage and lead audits independently, including stakeholder engagement
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall internal audit plan aligned with business model and regulatory requirements
• Lead audit engagements from planning through reporting, ensuring high quality and timely deliverables
• Conduct independent assessments of internal control design and effectiveness, identifying gaps and recommending improvements
• Prepare audit reports with value-adding recommendations to strengthen the control environment
• Develop and implement internal audit and risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures
