💼 About This Role

You'll lead a UX team at CircleCI, shaping design craft and people behind a platform used by over a million builds a day. You'll act as a 50/50 player/coach, managing designers while staying hands-on with strategic product areas. This role offers a chance to evolve the design system and drive AI fluency across the team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Coach and grow the product design team through 1:1s and design crits
• Lead hands-on design for strategically important product areas
• Establish and optimize design processes across the org
• Evolve the design system components and governance model

📋 Requirements

• Experience managing a team of product designers while remaining hands-on with design work
• Portfolio showing work on complex, technical, or developer-facing products
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and CI/CD, version control, CLIs, APIs
• Active use of AI in your design practice (e.g., AI-assisted prototyping, production coding)
