💼 About This Role

You'll run shift operations at a high-volume sort centre, leading 50–100+ operatives in time-pressured logistics. You'll own the people, throughput, quality, and continuous improvement for one of Europe's fastest-growing logistics startups. This role is a pathway to General Manager of your own hybrid sort centre with up to 1 million parcels daily capacity.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Run shift operations end-to-end including people deployment and throughput targets
• Lead, motivate, and develop a frontline team of 50–100+ operatives
• Use dashboards and KPIs to identify problems and track improvements
• Build and improve SOPs, controls, and feedback loops
• Own end-of-shift handover and cross-shift collaboration

📋 Requirements

• Proven leadership of large teams (50+) in fast-paced physical operations
• Strong reasoning ability to think through problems methodically
• Resilience to stay calm and structured during operational crises
• Metrics obsession — able to own and act on metrics

• Experience in parcels, fulfilment, or sortation
• Background in logistics, manufacturing, transport, or military
• Previous experience in a startup environment
