You will design, build, and maintain scalable systems for application development and large-scale data processing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver production-grade data products that power Roku's advertising platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years building large-scale distributed systems
• 5+ years in BigData technologies
• Advanced SQL skills with query optimization expertise
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience in distributed data processing, data warehousing, and real-time pipelines

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand needs and design solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Apache Spark and Apache Airflow
• Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing systems for reliability and performance
• Develop and fine-tune complex queries using Apache Pinot and Trino
• Design and build APIs and backend services using Spring Boot
