Description

You will provide engineering support to sales and design teams focusing on three-phase power, automation, and communication within low and medium voltage switchgear. You will apply high-level engineering concepts to solve real-world challenges and help shape custom solutions for clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in design, applications, or field service roles with a focus on power products.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Switchgear design experience.
• Proficiency in communications hardware and protocols including Ethernet networking, Modbus, and IEC 61850.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-order engineering support including preliminary drawings, communication diagrams, sequences of operation, and bills of materials.
• Collaborate with design engineering, mechanical, and production teams to develop innovative solutions for unique applications.
• Review customer plans, specifications, and scope of work to ensure alignment with product offerings.
• Deliver technical training on IEM products and applications to internal teams and clients.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (NEC, UL, IEEE) during product and order evaluations.
