Description

As a Hospice Volunteer, you will provide companionship, emotional support, and assistance with home management tasks to clients and families facing terminal illness. You may also help with administrative tasks, memorial services, and legacy projects, making a meaningful difference at end of life.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Meet state requirements for volunteers where applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and friendship to clients
• Assist with administrative support at the hospice office
• Help with hospice events such as memorial services and legacy projects
• Provide caregiver relief and support with home management tasks
• Assist as transport escort and with bereavement support
