💼 About This Role

You'll lead the development of the world's first grid-scale commercial fusion power plant at Commonwealth Fusion Systems, managing site selection, permitting, and stakeholder engagement. You'll establish a replicable playbook for future ARC power plants, driving the energy transition.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Obtain all permits and entitlements for site preparation and construction.
• Manage project schedule, budget, and recovery plans using industry-standard techniques.
• Develop a center of excellence for project development with metrics and best practices.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of viable sites and partners for future ARC plants.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field OR >10 years of large energy project development.
• 5+ years of large capital project development and investment experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience with cross-functional leadership.
• Proficiency in MS Project or P-6 Primavera and deep knowledge of project finance and permitting.

✨ Nice to Have

• 4+ years of independent power or electric utility industry experience.
• Experience developing large-scale (>50MW) power plants.
