You will bridge real-world sensor data with internal simulation tools, owning the digital twin of our ocean energy fleet. Your work ensures simulations match ocean conditions, informs fleet operations, and improves future designs.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Engineering, Physics, or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, structural dynamics, vibration/resonance
• Proficiency in Julia and Python for production engineering tools
• Familiarity with filtering, FFTs, and sensor fusion techniques
• Proven track record using physical asset data to inform numerical simulations

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated process for real-time simulations using sensor readings
• Develop tools and dashboards for live telemetry and simulation comparison
• Use fleet data to provide empirical evidence for design refinement
• Lead investigation of 'out-of-sample' sensor readings via non-automated simulations
• Serve as versatile simulation team member: routine analyses, new code features, deep-dives
