Description

You will lead a team building the foundational infrastructure framework for AI agents at Gong, covering agent sessions, memory, tool orchestration, and multi-tenant isolation. Your work will empower all engineering teams to build, deploy, and operate AI agents safely in production.

Requirements

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience with strong system design and platform-building expertise
• Tech leadership or team leading experience
• Hands-on experience with agentic systems such as LangChain, LangSmith, ADK
• Strong understanding of AI evaluation methodologies including agent evaluations and regression testing
• High proficiency in Python and Java integrations

Responsibilities

• Design and build Gong's internal agentic framework integrating LangChain, LangSmith, ADK
• Build evaluation frameworks for AI agents including offline/online evaluations and regression detection
• Lead a squad of 3-4 senior engineers, fostering technical excellence and end-to-end delivery
• Provide observability capabilities including tracing, logging, monitoring, cost tracking, and guardrails
• Create APIs, SDKs, and abstractions for product teams to easily build and operate agents
