💼 About This Role

You'll own the forecasting product roadmap end-to-end, partnering with Machine Learning engineers to deliver predictive models that serve stakeholders across Block. Your core impact is framing business problems, shaping data strategy, and driving adoption of cutting-edge AI and analytics. This role blends traditional product management with hands-on data science.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own the forecasting product roadmap from problem definition to launch and iteration.
• Partner with ML engineers to ensure models are grounded in clear data understanding.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to inform model design and evaluation strategy.
• Translate complex analytical concepts for executives, finance partners, and marketing teams.

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years in product management, management consulting, data science, or hybrid analytical role.
• Hands-on SQL proficiency and experience with Python (or R) for data analysis.
• Strong understanding of forecasting models, time-series analysis, and ML applications.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, or consumer finance.

✨ Nice to Have

• Prior experience at a strategy consulting firm or in a cross-functional analytics/strategy role.
• Familiarity with our stack: SQL, Python, GitHub, Databricks, Claude.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or quantitative field.
