💼 About This Role

You'll develop internal mission control software for Varda's spacecraft, working with flight software, test, and systems teams. You'll build automation scripts, backend services, and telemetry systems that ensure smooth operations across all flight phases. This internship offers hands-on impact in a fast-paced startup environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain Python tools interfacing with flight and ground systems
• Assist in scripting and automation for mission operations
• Contribute to backend systems for telemetry, data processing, or test coordination
• Ensure mission software reliability through good engineering practices

📋 Requirements

• Proficiency in Python
• Understanding of core computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, OS)
• Ability to debug complex software issues
• Comfort working in Linux-based environments

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience contributing to software projects outside class
• Knowledge of signals and systems, digital design, or embedded development
• Experience on college project teams (rocketry, robotics, etc.)
