You'll support students with moderate cognitive impairments at Eastern High School in Lansing, MI. You'll build relationships, ensure safety, and help students with disabilities thrive in a supportive school environment. This role is crucial for special education success.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Demonstrate passion for working with students, especially in small groups
• Effectively prioritize tasks assigned by teachers and school leaders
• Ensure safety of students on caseload
• Build relationships with students and parents

📋 Requirements

• Associate's Degree OR 60 completed college credits
• Proof of passing the ETS Paraprofessional Exam

✨ Nice to Have

• Previous experience working with students in small group and RTI settings
• Understanding of how to read and understand a student's IEP
• Desire to become a certified teacher long term
