💼 About This Role

You'll be the finance partner to Baseten's Sales and Marketing leaders, owning how the company plans, invests, and scales its GTM organization. You'll build models for revenue forecasting and capacity planning, and drive compensation design and deal-desk decisions. This role combines top-tier analytical rigor with operational instincts in a fast-moving, consumption-based AI infrastructure business.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own revenue forecasting, sales capacity planning, and quota setting across all GTM segments.
• Build and maintain the GTM operating model with top-line forecasting and segment unit economics.
• Run budget-vs-actual analysis on GTM spend and support monthly business reviews.
• Deliver executive-ready analyses on pipeline health, productivity, and segment ROI.

📋 Requirements

• 7-10+ years in strategic finance or GTM finance.
• Direct experience with consumption-based revenue models.
• Experience designing or owning sales compensation plans.
• Expert financial modeling skills including top-down/bottoms-up revenue builds and quota models.
