Description

You will join a cross-functional development team to build tools, APIs, and integrations for Remote's HR and Payroll platform. Your work involves leading projects, participating in code reviews, debugging issues, mentoring engineers, and implementing autonomous agent workflows to accelerate delivery.

Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals and track record of shipping secure, reliable, scalable production systems
• Practical experience designing or adopting agentic/automation workflows and iterating on them
• Ability to define specs, break down plans, instrument verification, and close the loop on quality
• Professional experience with Postgres (or similar)
• Professional experience with CI/CD (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins or similar)

Responsibilities

• Lead development of major team-scoped projects and participate in cross-team initiatives
• Provide product feedback and suggest improvements using technical expertise
• Maintain understanding of team domain from product and engineering sides
• Debug and solve technical and business issues
• Mentor and provide guidance to other engineers
