💼 About This Role

You'll lead a team of underwriters and credit strategists managing Stripe's largest exposures, building frameworks to confidently approve complex businesses while protecting the balance sheet. You'll drive strategic stakeholder partnerships and operational excellence across APAC. This role offers high-stakes decision-making in a fast-paced fintech environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Coach and mentor a team of commercial underwriters and credit strategists
• Oversee end-to-end credit risk lifecycle for high-exposure users
• Advise Sales, Risk Strategy, and Bank Partners on risk appetite
• Drive operational excellence and process improvements

📋 Requirements

• 12+ years experience in commercial underwriting or financial analysis across APAC
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial analysis, and cash flow analysis
• Ability to interact with CFOs and CEOs of top merchants
• Experience recruiting and managing diverse, high-performing teams

• Data visualization skills and willingness to use AI tools
• Experience in tech or fast-paced high-growth environment
• Experience with Greater China merchants
• Experience in matrix org and with Engineering, Product, Ops teams
