Description

You will establish process safety parameters for cutting-edge technologies and manufacturing processes, conduct hazard analyses, and implement PSM programs in a high-paced collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in process safety or chemical engineering
• 5+ years experience with design and commissioning of chemical systems
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, equipment datasheets, instrumentation diagrams
• Experience with safety control circuits and calculating safety performance levels
• Advanced understanding of industry codes (ASME, NFPA, ANSI, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Conduct Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) of advanced chemical systems
• Evaluate equipment overpressure/overtemperature scenarios and reaction hazards
• Perform factory and site acceptance testing, risk assessments, and hazard analyses
• Implement and field validate safety critical instruments and interlocks during PSSRs
• Implement a Process Safety Management (PSM) program and ensure compliance
