💼 About This Role

You'll build and lead the accounting function at a fast-growing enterprise AI platform backed by Y Combinator. You'll own the close, improve controls, and create a finance operating backbone trusted by management and investors.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close with journal entries and reconciliations
• Lead transition to GAAP-like accrual accounting and revenue recognition
• Design and document accounting policies across key areas
• Build reliable AR, AP, expense reimbursement, and vendor payment workflows

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and high-growth SaaS
• Strong command of U.S. GAAP, monthly close, revenue recognition, and internal controls
• Experience building or upgrading accounting processes in a scaling company
• CPA strongly preferred

• Experience with enterprise contracts, consumption or usage-based pricing
• Exposure to AI, software infrastructure, or cloud cost allocation
• Experience preparing a company for financing, audit, or diligence processes
