Description

As a Security Engineer New Grad at Stripe, you'll work across security disciplines, applying software engineering to protect critical financial infrastructure. You'll collaborate with product and infrastructure teams, learn threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, or offensive security, and help scale security through tools and automation.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in BS/MS in CS or related field, graduating by Summer 2026
• Programming experience via side projects or classwork (Java, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Scala, Go)
• Experience with internships or collaborative coding projects
• Ability to learn unfamiliar systems independently and with mentors
• Aptitude to think like an attacker and reduce security risk

Responsibilities

• Work on cross-functional projects with engineers
• Give feedback on code reviews and technical designs
• Improve security processes, tooling, and defenses
• Develop understanding of Stripe's security primitives
• Identify and respond to anomalous or malicious activity
