Description

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer on Chime's App Journey team, you will own and evolve core app surfaces, working across React Native and Ruby on Rails to build scalable, reliable experiences for millions of members. You'll partner with product managers and designers, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to server-driven UI systems and GraphQL APIs.

Requirements

• 6+ years full-stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and React Native
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails for backend development
• Leadership and mentorship experience

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve core app surfaces including primary surfaces and app navigation
• Build frontend features in React Native and contribute to backend services and GraphQL APIs in Ruby on Rails
• Partner with product managers and designers to define requirements and shape roadmap
• Mentor junior engineers and raise the technical bar
• Participate in on-call rotation and frontend community of practice
