Description

You will own the roadmap and execution for design systems, illustration, iconography, and AI projects end-to-end, drive program management for the AI Taskforce, and partner with cross-functional teams to shape workflows and manage delivery. This role sits at the center of Lyft's design infrastructure, ensuring every product team has the systems and standards they depend on.

Requirements

• 5+ years in design program management, product design, or a relevant design industry role
• 1+ years working with Design Systems
• Demonstrated ability to drive complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to take a loosely defined problem and build a plan
• Hands-on familiarity with AI tools and genuine interest in how they change design team workflows

Responsibilities

• Own roadmap and execution for Design Systems, illustration, iconography, and AI projects end-to-end
• Drive program management for the AI Taskforce coordinating across Education, Content Design, and Infrastructure tracks
• Shape and document workflows and processes that make the team faster and more effective
• Partner with designers, engineers, illustrators, and PMs to scope work, set timelines, and manage delivery
• Build and maintain visibility into project health, team utilization, and priorities for design leadership
