Description

As Legal Counsel APAC at Monks, you will draft, negotiate, and review legal documents for creative production projects across Asia-Pacific, provide compliance and clearance advice, and collaborate with regional legal teams to support business growth in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in similar role, ideally with in-house counsel experience
• Qualified lawyer in good standing in a qualified jurisdiction
• Fluent in English and Mandarin at high professional level
• Hands-on experience with digital advertising, technology, contract law, and copyright
• Strong negotiating and drafting skills for commercial contracts

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and review legal documents (MSAs, SOWs, RFPs, NDAs, third-party agreements)
• Join negotiations with internal teams and clients on commercial contracts
• Provide legal support on compliance and clearance for projects and campaigns in APAC
• Collaborate with APAC legal team to create and update contract policies and strategies
• Monitor legal and regulatory changes in APAC markets and provide advice
