Description

As a Ground Systems Engineer, you will directly design, build, integrate, and sustain cryogenic and high-pressure infrastructure for Starship testing, collaborating with teams from requirements through maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or aerospace engineering.
• Experience with fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, or process engineering.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with cryogenic fluid systems (preferred).
• Experience designing and operating fluid systems.
• PLC programming experience, Siemens preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as responsible engineer for fluids ground systems including cryogenic systems.
• Analyze and design new and existing production systems using heat transfer and fluid dynamics.
• Manage interdisciplinary teams for fluids engineering projects from requirements to maintenance.
• Identify and implement fluids system upgrades for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with production teams and provide day-to-day ground systems support.
