💼 About This Role

You'll join TEGNA's mobile engineering team to develop high-quality iOS applications for a portfolio of media properties. You'll work in a cross-functional pod, building features, fixing defects, and collaborating to deliver polished experiences to millions of users. This role offers mentorship from senior engineers and a chance to grow your skills in an evolving engineering organization.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop, test, and maintain iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit
• Implement features per acceptance criteria and design specifications
• Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
• Write unit tests and keep CI green

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional iOS development experience on production apps
• Solid proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data flows
• Familiarity with unit testing and Agile environments

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with video playback, HLS streaming, or ad tech
• Familiarity with feature flags, experimentation, and analytics
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Fastlane)
