As a Senior Data Scientist at Careem, you will lead the development of AI models to optimize user experiences, operational efficiencies, and decision making. You will work with top data science talent, leveraging machine learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning to solve real-world problems in the Middle East, deployed on Careem's in-house AI platform serving users in real-time.

Requirements

• Experience in data mining, predictive modeling, time series analysis, machine learning, Big Data
• Advanced degree in quantitative discipline (Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science)
• Strong problem solving and coding skills
• Solid knowledge of marketplace problems in ride hailing and delivery services
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, Hive

Responsibilities

• Build long-term vision for customer acquisition and engagement strategies using data
• Drive exploratory analysis to understand ecosystem and user behavior, identify new levers
• Shape data/ML models to optimize product experience and generate insights on new opportunities
• Provide product leadership through data-based recommendations and experimentation results
• Implement scalable machine learning algorithms for production on big data
