Description

You will provide engineering design support and subject matter expertise in fire protection, life safety, and building/fire codes. You'll develop compliance documents, perform hazard analyses, support construction teams, and conduct code reviews for SpaceX facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 2+ years experience in fire protection system design or consulting
• Willingness to work extended hours and travel
• Ability to pass Air Force background checks
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident (ITAR)

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design and analysis for fire/life safety systems
• Develop building and fire code compliance documents
• Perform hazardous material analysis for code compliance
• Support facility construction teams with field solutions
• Conduct fire/life safety code reviews and prepare reports
