Description

You will lead the integration of Shift5's hardware into complex defense platforms, owning system-level technical baselines and formal government artifacts. Collaborate across hardware, software, and integration teams to ensure compliance and mission assurance, while serving as the primary technical interface for DoD customers.

Requirements

• Technical fluency in hardware/software integration
• Experience with government CDRLs/SDRLs and acquisition processes
• Executive presence to interface with DoD customers and certification authorities
• Ability to manage requirements and provide clear technical positions to customer PMOs

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of Shift5 hardware into customer platforms, including cabling and A-kit design
• Own system-level technical baseline across programs, ensuring compliance standards
• Coordinate cross-discipline technical execution with hardware, software, and cyber teams
• Develop and manage formal systems engineering artifacts (V&V plans, architecture docs)
• Support formal technical reviews (SRRs, PDRs, CDRs) and perform system-level analyses (Weight Balance, Electrical Loads, FMECA)
