Description

You will lead regulatory and policy strategy for Starlink in the Asia Pacific region, advising the team on laws and policies, developing advocacy positions, and representing SpaceX before regulators to enable and protect the provision of broadband services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 4+ years of experience working with government agencies and policies
• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications policy (preferred)
• Expert knowledge of telecom business and regulatory issues in APAC (preferred)
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time

Responsibilities

• Advise the Starlink team on laws, regulations, and policies impacting the business in APAC
• Develop and advocate for broadband and spectrum policies to further SpaceX's business objectives
• Represent the company before regulatory agencies, legislatures, and regional organizations
• Draft pleadings, letters, and advocacy pieces to promote SpaceX's policy positions
• Provide strategic regulatory advice to business development efforts for partnerships and satellite expansion
