💼 About This Role

You'll own and evolve the BI team's technical infrastructure using Snowflake, dbt, and GitLab CI/CD. You'll build scalable, analytics-ready data layers that bridge Data Engineering and Business Intelligence. This role combines deep technical work with close collaboration on business metrics and data models.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Administer and optimize Snowflake warehouse (roles, performance, cost, governance).
• Maintain and scale dbt projects including core models and tests.
• Manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines and job scheduling for BI transformations.
• Partner with Data Engineering to align upstream pipelines with BI needs.

📋 Requirements

• 3-5+ years as an Analytics Engineer or Data Engineer.
• Strong proficiency with Snowflake and AWS analytics services.
• Expertise in SQL, Python, and Spark.
• Experience with dbt and modern data modeling best practices.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience supporting BI or analytics teams directly.
• Knowledge of semantic layers or metrics stores.
• Familiarity with data mesh principles and domain-oriented data products.
