💼 About This Role

You'll own the end-to-end safety and reliability strategy for a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle, Nyx. You'll drive the vehicle safety architecture and relentlessly reduce risk while increasing availability. This role offers the chance to shape commercial human spaceflight with a pioneering company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own vehicle safety architecture and compliance with requirements.
• Assess pre-flight risks and mitigations with cross-functional teams.
• Perform FMECA, FTA, PRA, and RAM analyses.
• Define and validate fault management and FDIR architecture.
• Support on-console operations and drive anomaly resolution.

📋 Requirements

• Master's degree in engineering or science discipline.
• Proficiency with reliability tools (e.g., FMECA, FTA, reliability block diagrams).
• Understanding of fault tolerance, redundancy management, and FDIR.
• Technical knowledge of spacecraft systems and operations.
