Description

You'll own the monthly burn forecast, build capacity models tied to revenue milestones, and lead vendor management to eliminate software bloat. You'll also develop sophisticated financial models for fundraising and valuation defense, take ownership of the audit, and partner with the CEO and department heads to evaluate ROI on new initiatives.

Requirements

• 6+ years in Strategic Finance, Investment Banking, or FP&A in high-growth fintech or marketplace.
• Expert-level skills in 3-statement integrated modeling (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
• Ability to distill complex financial concepts into actionable insights.
• Builder mentality comfortable with manual work to build automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly burn forecast with 5% variance target.
• Develop and enforce ROI-based capacity models for headcount growth.
• Lead vendor management to audit and eliminate software bloat.
• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models for valuation defense (LTV/CAC, GMV Sensitivity, Auction Take-Rate).
• Lead financial modeling and due diligence for venture debt and Series C.
• Translate internal data into financial narratives for Board and investors.
• Take immediate ownership of 2024 audit.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product to automate financial reporting.
• Evaluate financial exposure and implement internal controls for scaling.
• Partner with CEO and department heads to evaluate ROI of new auction categories and initiatives.
• Develop capital allocation frameworks to maximize GMV.
