Description

As a Solutions Architect at MongoDB, you will guide customers in designing scalable systems using our data platform, collaborate with sales to win deals, and act as a trusted advisor to users ranging from startups to enterprise IT organizations.

Requirements

• 5-8 years related industry experience, ideally 2 years in customer-facing role
• Minimum 2 years experience with modern scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, SQL) or popular programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, C#)
• Experience implementing scalable distributed systems in cloud and on-prem
• Demonstrated ability to review complex customer architectures and provide improvement guidance
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, fluency in English and one of: Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Japanese, Thai

Responsibilities

• Design scalable applications, systems, and infrastructure for large software projects leveraging MongoDB
• Guide customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies for MongoDB, articulating business value
• Collaborate with sales team for account planning, opportunity prioritization, and pipeline generation
• Proactively generate demand through technical initiatives, events, and account-based marketing
• Foster customer relationships, build champions, and ensure customer success and satisfaction
