💼 About This Role

You'll join a fintech startup as a legal and privacy expert, advising on contracts, data protection, and AI initiatives. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to balance legal risk with innovative business solutions. This hybrid role in Montreal supports scalable growth in a dynamic, tech-driven environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements including NDAs, SaaS, and service provider contracts.
• Manage and scale the data privacy program and advise on data privacy legal issues.
• Provide clear, actionable legal advice on daily operational matters, balancing business priorities and risk.
• Lead and implement AI solutions within the legal and compliance team to improve efficiency.

📋 Requirements

• 5-8 years experience in a legal role, preferably in fintech, financial services, or technology.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in privacy and contract negotiation with hands-on operations involvement.
• Bilingual (professional proficiency in French and English, written and spoken).
