Description

You will plan, engineer, and design fiber-based access networks for Fiber to the Home (FTTH) expansion, creating detailed construction prints and cost estimates, coordinating with municipalities and utilities, and ensuring designs meet client architecture standards.

Requirements

• Experience in OSP engineering and design for fiber networks
• Knowledge of FTTH architectures and deployment strategies
• Ability to interpret rights-of-way, easements, and permitting requirements
• Proficiency creating cost estimates and construction documentation

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer aerial, buried, and underground OSP facilities for copper and fiber networks, focusing on FTTH
• Prepare detailed work order packages, construction prints, and engineering documentation
• Develop cost estimates for installation, rearrangement, and removal of OSP facilities
• Coordinate field visits to validate designs and support construction teams
• Interface with municipalities, DOTs, utilities, and government agencies for permitting and rights-of-way
