💼 About This Role

You'll design and develop composite structures for autonomous defense platforms, owning components from concept through flight test. Your work will directly impact lightweight, high-performance airframe solutions optimized for scalable production. This role combines hands-on fabrication with advanced analysis.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design composite structures for UAVs from concept through flight test
• Own full development cycle including laminate design, analysis, and testing
• Perform structural analysis using hand calculations and FEA
• Collaborate with manufacturing and test teams to build prototype hardware

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing and/or building composite structures
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering
• Proficiency with NX or similar CAD tools
• Experience performing FEA using ANSYS or similar simulation software

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with aerospace or UAV composite structures
• Knowledge of autoclave and out-of-autoclave prepreg processing
• Familiarity with Fibersim for laminate definition
