Description

You will lead Luno's exchange function, defining strategy, overseeing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving growth. You will manage teams, optimize trading infrastructure, and foster relationships with market participants to enhance the trading platform's performance and user experience.

Requirements

• 8-10+ years senior leadership in cryptocurrency exchange, electronic trading venue, or financial institution
• Deep expertise in market microstructure, electronic trading, liquidity strategies, order book management
• Proven track record building and managing high-performing distributed teams
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., MiFID II, SEC, FCA)
• Solid understanding of trading technology, system architecture, low-latency environments

Responsibilities

• Define and execute long-term exchange strategy, product roadmap, and growth initiatives
• Oversee daily operations, ensure performance, stability, security, and low latency
• Monitor KPIs such as trading volume, market share, revenue, and liquidity depth
• Manage relationships with liquidity providers, custodians, and institutional traders
• Lead community management of top traders globally to gather feedback for product improvements
