You'll own and build partner-facing backend systems for a mission-driven app marketplace reducing food waste. Your architecture decisions and code will directly impact grocery retail integrations at scale. This role blends deep hands-on engineering with technical leadership across a rapidly growing company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build core backend services and integrations for the partner platform
• Ship end-to-end features using Node.js, TypeScript, and React for partner tooling
• Drive architecture discussions for APIs, data models, and integration patterns
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and architectural guidance

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript across frontend and backend
• Extensive Node.js experience operating production services at scale
• Direct experience in grocery or retail technology environments

✨ Nice to Have

• React and Next.js experience for partner-facing UIs
• Experience with AI-assisted development and agentic workflows
• Familiarity with event streaming (Kafka), job orchestration (Airflow, Temporal), or GraphQL
