Description

You will design and implement scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to power data products, collaborating with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers. As a senior team member, you will influence enterprise-wide data architecture and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years hands-on experience with data software development
• Strong skills in DBT, SQL, Python, Snowflake, Iceberg, Spark, and AWS (ECS, S3, Aurora, RDS)
• Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, and Flink
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Expertise in dimensional data modeling and semantic layer design

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and align with product/customer success teams
• Architect and implement data storage solutions (data lakes, warehouses, real-time processing) and cloud infrastructure
• Optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, cost-efficiency, and automation
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers
